Very Nice article.
I was once the proud owner of a retired PDP11/04 with 8″ drives which, once warmed up would load up RSX-11…..
I kept it at my office for a while.
Unfortunately I did not take picture of the low density TTL boards that made it up. TTL with no letters, no L no S no LS.
