Technology Company today announced it will demonstrate the new Rise mP6 -300 microprocessor at the CeBit Tradeshow and Exhibition to be held at Messe Hamburg Exhibit Center in Hannover, Germany, March 18-24, 1999. Rise will also provide a sneak preview of its mP6 II microprocessor, which features a tri-level architecture that includes the addition of an on-chip 256K L2 cache for increased multimedia performance for applications such as soft DVD playback, 3D graphics and digital imaging.The Rise mP6 family of microprocessors is designed from the ground up meet the multimedia and performance needs of the consumer value PC and notebook markets. The Rise mP6 and mP6 II microprocessors low power consumption makes them ideal for both portable applications and consumer desktop systems. This combination of multimedia performance and low power consumption allows the Rise mP6 and mP6 II microprocessors to provide multiple end-user price and performance options in the sub-$1,000 computer market.

At CeBit, the Rise Technology booth will be located in the Multimedia, PC and Components section of the USA Pavilion, Hall #9, Booth #M2, Stand #C16. Rise Technology will demonstrate the new Rise mP6-300 microprocessor running a number of Windows-based multimedia, Internet, and consumer-oriented applications including digital imaging, soft modem technology, and soft DVD technology. A sneak preview of the mP6 II microprocessor also will be available to exhibit attendees.
