Description:The DS80C310 is similar to the DS80C320 but with
a reduced feature set for cost-sensitive
applications. As a Dallas high-speed
microcontroller, the DS80C310 benefits from a
redesigned processor core that eliminates wasted
clock cycles, so that 8051 instructions are
performed at 33MHz at an 82.5MHz speed.

The DS80C310 provides the same resources as the
standard 80C32-timer/counter, full-duplex serial
port, 256 bytes of scratchpad RAM, and I/O ports-
and adds dual data pointers (DPTRs) to speed
block data memory moves. It also can adjust the
speed of MOVX data memory access between two and
nine machine cycles for flexibility in accessing
external memory and peripherals.

The DS80C310 is available in two clock speeds and
three packages and operates in the commercial or
industrial temperature range. It speeds up
performance in any 80C32 application.
