Description:	Intel 4040 is an enhanced version of Intel 4004 microprocessor. Running at the same speed as the 4004 and being fully object compatible with it, the 4040 doubled maximum program memory, increased stack size, added an extra bank of 8 4- bit registers and included interrupt support (see differences between Intel 4040 and 4004). Intel 4040 was used in Intellec 4/40 microcomputer development system and in in embedded applications.
